We’re in a time of information overload of constant stimulation from the outside world trying to tell us how to live and what’s healthy. If you’re like me, then you’ve tried a variety of things to “get healthy”.
You’ve spent hours researching.
You’ve experimented with all different types of diet and exercise.
This probably made you feel bad at first. Then, you finally started feeling good, like you were getting somewhere! And then you plateaued or backslid to the beginning.
It’s so frustrating and can feel like you’ve hit your healthy rock bottom. You’ve done it all and nothing was THE answer.
This leads to a cycle of
Frustration
Shame
Guilt
Confusion
Deprivation
Isolation
Conflict
So what can you do? How do you start actually being able to make progress in improving your health when everything feels so impossible?
What I’ve come to realize is,
True healing isn’t this external seeking but work from within.
This work allows you to trust the decisions you’re making for your health, not based on the latest trend, but based on the fact that you know yourself better than anyone. When you take the time to be still and listen to what creates joy, you're on the path to living a healthy life that you will actually enjoy.

You can find inspiration in the external world but only you know if it’s going to work for you.
